Valle-Inclan (1866-1936), fue publicado en 1936 por Juan Bautista
Bergua poco antes de la muerte del autor. En el prologo, Bergua nos
cuenta la historia como se encontraron el titulo del libro. En su
estado decaido de la enfermedad terminal, sin muchos recursos
economicos, Bergua surigio a Valle-Inclan republicar sus narrativas
breves, cuentos publicados en los periodicos en la epoca de sus
principios literarios. Incluye su conocido A Medianoche, un final
de sus numerosos versiones de esta obra que muestra la elocuencia
de su sistema de creacion, impulsado por un deseo de perfeccion
infatigable. Valle-Inclan fue un dramaturgo, poeta y novelista
espanol, que formo parte de la Modernismo literaria en Espana y
parte de a la Generacion del 98. Llevo la vida bohemia y frequento
las tertulias con otros autores destacados en los cafes madrilenos
de la epoca. Se lo considera uno de los autores clave de la
